About knock: kanthari network of change and knowledge

Our Story

knock is the global community of kanthari graduates, change makers from over 50 countries, positively impacting the lives of people who are situated on the margins of society. They work on education, disability inclusion, women’s empowerment, climate action, health, agriculture, peacebuilding, and many more topics.

We all have in common that we spent time at the kanthari campus in Kerala, went through the famous washing machine, and that we have started, or still want to start our own impact-making organisations. The knowledge and experience that is combined among all 300+ kanthari graduates is enormous. With knock, we wish to unite alumni to collaborate, share experience and wisdom, and create further impact together.

To empower kanthari graduates to expand their reach and deepen their impact by providing collaboration platforms, resources, skills development, and strategic opportunities.

Membership and Next Steps

This community is open to all kanthari alumni.
To realize the above mentioned goals we need everyone’s support.
To sustain knock and organize regular meetings and events, we will need to develop a membership structure, with shared contributions, either financially, membership fee and/or other means.
